Before you can print via Bluetooth you first have to setup an initial connection between your phone and printer using a process known as pairing. Usually this involves putting your printer into ‘Discovery Mode’ via its Bluetooth menu, and then starting a search for other Bluetooth devices on your phone. Once your phone finds the printer, you then have to enter a four-digit passcode to establish the connection.
USB receipt printers are commonly used. They will save you a few dollars. USB printers connect to Android devices via a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adaptor. Make sure your device supports USB OTG or USB Host mode.
Like Square, PayPal has a free app and device it will send you. Like Square, you can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. However, you can also accept checks for electronic deposit and generate and send electronic invoices. Fees start at 2.7 percent per transaction–a little bit less than Square–but if you manually enter the card information, the cost is like Square: 3.5 percent plus $0.15 per transaction.

You can add your logo and text to your receipt. This is done with software that is included with the receipt printer. By adding your logo to your receipts you have a place to advertise your business. You can also put your phone number on your receipt or your website URL. This is a good thing to do if you’re selling at a craft show, fair, farmers market and etc. The customer may not remember your name and may not go online to search for your website. But if you put your website on the receipt you have a better chance of the customers visiting your website to make a purchase.

The printer is fine but bluetooth connectivity has been an incredible challenge. We have probably wasted 20 hours wrestling with it in the few weeks we have had it. The Starprint utility can say it is not connected when it is … and vice versa. The Bluetooth says it is not connected yet we can print a receipt from the register. The delay communicating via bluetooth means we have to leave a key in teh till drawer rather than wait for it to eventually open even though we have adjusted the utility and timing. So, while the printer is fine, don’t go bluetooth because you can’t use a cable even if you want to as there’s no socket …. just bluetooth ! So, buy a cable printer version and be happier !
Not all phones that have Bluetooth onboard support Bluetooth printing, so it’s worth checking your phone’s manual before investing in a Bluetooth-enabled printer. Nevertheless, Bluetooth printing is a handy feature if your phone doesn’t support Wi-Fi, as it lets you print snaps from your phone without having to hook up any cables, or first transfer your snaps to a PC.
If you have a Square Stand, in addition to the printers above, you can use certain USB interface receipt printers. The following receipt printers are only compatible with the Square Stand, not the Square card reader:
Since then, smart cards with contactless interfaces have been increasingly popular for payment and ticketing applications such as mass transit. Globally, contactless fare collection is being employed for efficiencies in public transit. The various standards emerging are local in focus and are not compatible, though the MIFARE Classic card from Philips has a large market share in the United States and Europe.
Workhorse Printer. Love the quality. (TCP/IP) Network setup can be a bit of a pain, otherwise 5 stars. AirPrint doesn’t really require any setup, because as long as your printer and iOS device are connected to the same network they will automatically find each other. All you have to do is select the Print option in iOS, tap the ‘Select Printer’ button and then choose your printer from the list. Next you simply select the number of copies you want and press print. That’s it — it really couldn’t be easier.
UPDATE: August 14, 2016 – Still no issues with printing. There is a slight delay, about five seconds, between completing the transaction and printing the receipt. This could very well be an issue using Square Payment Systems, and not really the printer and the IPad that I’ve linked it to for Square sales. The printer does lose its Bluetooth connection when I move the IPad to the next room, which is expected, but it often does not “find” and then “pair” again without me going through the printer’s pairing process again. For that reason, I’m lowering my star rating from five to four. In the scheme of things, this is just a minor inconvenience and the printer quality more than makes up for any issues with pairing from time to time.
When you select items from your cart, the corresponding number of Care Packs is added. To add a Care Pack to fewer items, please place separate orders for any items you do not want to cover with a Care Pack.

Beyond successful software installations — and mysterious failings “printer not available” after initially printing the test page or failing to print after several hours of successful hours of operation, there’s the interesting phenomenon of an attempted install on a couple of machines in which after selecting the ‘easy install’ or appropriate options under the standard install, and then clicking ‘install’ — nothing happens. Click again. Nothing happens: no messaging, no installation, nothing. I find this inexplicable and suspect that most software/driver developers — with the evident exception of Epson — wouldn’t allow a feature this flawed into release.
The inclusion of the legacy CPCL programming language also allows mixed networks of QL / QL Plus and QLn products. And with ZBI 2. x™, directly connect your printers with legacy host systems and peripheral devices, such as scanners and scales.
